With Kuithe going down, presumably for the season, opposing defenses are going to blanket Kincaid and force someone else to beat them. Our receivers have been basically non existent so far. I’m not sure if they aren’t getting open (which would be very concerning) or if Cam is just targeting the TE’s too often.

Like it’s been discussed below, our offense just doesn’t look like I thought it would. Rising looks off on some easy throws, Thomas is dealing with some stuff, Enis and Vele are just out there running around apparently. Maybe my expectations were just too high? Maybe losing Covey was a bigger deal than I expected? But as things stand right now, we’ll easily lose 3 or 4 more games if they can’t figure it out.

Covey was a clutch player with some of the best hands we’ve ever seen in a Ute receiver, especially for his size.

Rising targeted the WR’s. He hit them in the hands. A few were going fast and in front of them a little. The Int that was thrown should really be on Enis. A WR gets hit in the hands he should catch it.

Yassmin had himself a good catch and run. We just need more guys to step up.

Yassim on that play at least looked like a bright spot that might ease losing kuithe

That’s a good average per catch.

My main criticism is Yassmin didn’t move the ball to his right side and he is slower than Kuithe.

Yassim told coach he would have taken it to the house if he hadn’t been in on the preceding punt return.

Sadness to see Kuithe go down. The team will rally behind this setback. Go, Utes!

Yassmin is the starting TE on any team in America that doesn’t have Kincaid on it.

Kuithe is NOT a TE. He just lines up there for matchup purposes.

Yassmin has NFL measurable at 6’5” 250 lbs runs very well with good hands.

I’ve heard from a couple of people that have said he doesn’t have NFL aspirations. He came to America to get a degree and will return to Australia when he’s graduated. His first love is still Aussie rules football.

We’ve gotten to know him a bit in the off-season. Interesting fact, Yassmin plays the bagpipes!

Hmm I think you may be confused, Scotland is well known for bag piping, Provo is well known for tea bagging.
