      What is Whittingham thinking?

I found it baffling we hold Rising out for precautionary reasons, but leave Kincaid in when he was CLEARLY hurt on the previous play. Any other player could make that catch and score. It was a great play design.

if you hold your Star player out, you better hold the other Star players out too, or at a minimum avoid any risk of further injury.

If you trust your backup QB, you gotta trust your backup TE too.

He probably asked Kincaid if he was GTG. What do you think Kincaid would have said? My guess…

Valid question, but I don’t think he made it any worse on the TD.  I think (don’t know) that the damage was done on the incomplete pass.

Kincaid told Whit numerous times he was good to go. It’s a two way street. To pin this on Whit is shortsighted.

Also, I don’t understand the need to criticize the coaches, when we just beat a pretty good team with 7 of our starters out

I think it was a pain tolerance type injury that can’t be made much worse from another hit or two.
