      Although I trust our team to have a chip on their shoulder no matter what, getting left out of the preseason AP poll should be good for us. Getting placed directly behind that team down south is nice as well.

      Of course, we’ll most likely be in if we beat UCLA. I would have liked to be buried in the Receiving Vote.

      High rankings got us nowhere the past two years. This team is highly motivated. Pretty tough to break the top 15 these days. Lots of $$ and good teams.

      I don’t care who is ranked before the season starts. It makes for good sports board discussion, but that’s about it. Get back to me at the end of the season and tell me who is ranked.

      Had a seven game losing streak last season ending with no bowl appearance. Need to start season off with a win in Pasadena to get some respect back.

      I would say the fact that we’re at 27 is impressive enough! We should be in the top 25 after week one!

        All of the injuries the past two seasons were not his fault.
