I started looking at Troy last week, when I found out that it was a very real possibility that Huntley would start, and he just wasn’t very good. Once I saw that, it just seemed more and more likely Huntley would be the guy.
The fact that the senior didn’t wrap it up in week one or two of Fall camp made me think the coaches were really liking Huntley. I thought well redzone packages again for Huntley?? But Williams never made it seem like his team.
Williams needed to wrap it up in Spring in hindsight.
Williams inability to hit wide open receivers during high leverage moments last year cost the Utes the south. I think the coaches had probably seen enough
