I dont understand why we dance around in the backfield looking for a hole when most teams just power attack on short yardage.  If we had picked up the first down rather than turn it over on downs we might have gained some momentum.

113th in the country on short down and distance. Something definitely wrong schematically.

We don’t have a powerful line. We did have 2 freshman, 1 sophomore, and 1 junior though so hopefully we get stronger and more physical up front. Kick Moala to LT and put Bam at RT. A right side of Ford and Bam could be very strong.

Unless Ford makes huge strides in the offseason I don’t see it. Kid was awful against any competition with a pulse this year.

He’s also a sophomore. So expecting improvement should be there.
