I’ve been noticing nobody’s talking about remaining eligibility for our transfers. For instance, Dorian Singer has one year left. He’s a one year rental, Like Carrington I guess. Anyone got a breakdown on how much time they all have to give?
I believe Singer has 2 years of eligibility remaining
Here’s my understanding of our (loose) depth charts with eligibility remaining. Note that some players almost certainly won’t use all their eligibility though. Barton I think will go NFL, Bernard probably won’t be back in 2025 for a 7th year (4+COVID+RS+Medical)… but they will at least have the option
Quarterback
Running Back
Wide Receiver
Tight End
Offensive Tackle
Interior Offensive Line
EDGE / Defensive End
Defensive Interior
Linebacker
Cornerback
Safety
Thanks. I am still hopping Bentley (has 3 yrs) will work in at TE. The ’23 year class has a some missionaries that will figure in, Clegg and Fonoimoana at the head of the list.
I actually had Bentley in my spreadsheet…just missed him when I transferred it over to here. And I haven’t put the missionaries in since they’re not technically on the roster
Looking at this the things that stand out to me are
Trey Reynolds LB comes back from a Mission this year.
I didn’t realize how young our OL is. Need a few depth guys there. Also need a corner or two and one QB. Overall, if we can stay relatively healthy, this will be a very good team next season. With all that has and is happening with Arizona, I think we have a real shot at winning the Big 12 and making the playoffs!
This depth/eligibility chart makes us look real lean after this coming year. Wouldnt be surprised if this will be whitts last year given that outlook.
