  For Kalani, why? The training wheels are off. He is no longer under the umbrella of Whittingham or Andersen. He (IMO) was never a good coach. A good ‘guy’, yes. People like zoob homer Monson built Kalani up, he always wanted Sitake down there. Be careful what you wish for and if Kalani wasn’t smart enough to see the downward trajectory the tds was heading towards, there’s nobody to blame but himself. Only the dumbest of zoob fandom thinks the tds is doing good in Independence. Even Potato State is looking pedestrian. Sorry zoobs, “living right on and off the field” isn’t going to help you from the harsh reality of HUGE MONEY and POWER CONFERENCES. No team in the State of Utah deserves to fall flat on their collective face’s more than the team down south and it’s almost poetic that they are wearing those LaVell patches this season. It began with him in the early ’70’s and now it’s ending with his patch. End rant.

  On the contrary, I like Gordon Monson. And Dick Harmon. One of the things I enjoy most about football locally is watching zoobs get all hyped up from January through August, then watching it all come crashing down in the fall. And those guys are a big reason why the zoobs get so hyped up – if those guys went away, or called things the way they really are, the crash wouldn’t be nearly as fun.
