Interesting Read On USC’s Developing 4 and 5 Star Players

      In USC’s 2016 recuiting class 0 of their five star recuits started. Only 5 out of 12 four star recruits started and five out of six three stars players started. I wonder what Utahs ratios would look like.

      That’s a bit of an indictment on either usc or the star system.

        I vote the star system. They basically assign stars based on who is recruiting the kid. USC is in that group that basically adds stars to a kid if they recruit him.

          You would see that a lot. Utah would show early interest in a kid. USC suddenly enters the picture and bam Four to five star.

          Not necessarily, Leki Fotu was a 2 star that USC came hard at. For the most part the star system works. Obviously, that’s not always the case, but there are more 5 star kids in the NFL per capita than 4 stars. Same goes with 4 star and 3 star and so on.
