      He mentioned in his interview that he was so impressed with the mountains (I agree) when he visited.  

      If he would have visited this last weekend, he would have seen nothing but smoke.  I have never experienced anything as bad as what we have seen these last 5 days.  AT least when there is an inversion – you can head up into the mountains to get out of it.

      Man. I hear that it sucks down there. The air quality index shows that it was around 120 which is very unhealthy. Last year the index got to 515 in the Portland, OR area. I could barely see the house across the street let alone a mountain.
