According to Erik Mckinney, the Utes just landed a QB, Jack Tuttle for 2018. I don’t know much about him, but seems like it could be a huge commitment
Never can have too many QB’s.
Yep, looks legit.

4 star.
Nice.
I think this patience thing is really starting to pay off… seriously…
Espn 300 recruit and rivals has him ranked 128th as a 4 star. I never get too worked up by early commits but qbs definitely flip less often and generally commit earlier.
hes a 2018 recruit….
You’re absolutely right. My patience comment is completely inapplicable. 🙂

Holy cow… look at this list…
Tuttle’s offer list included Arizona State, Boston College Indiana, LSU, Missouri, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and Washington State.
Never can have too many Safeties.
I am seriously intrigued by our QB talent coming in. I really think Shelley is going to be special and I love Huntleys mental makeup. And this kid might be the most talented of the 3. We better freaking fugure out how to develop these kids
We need a competent QB coach.
Best I could do on short notice.
That is a seriously impressive list of offers. Absolutely huge pickup.
Tuttle 2016 highlights:
The part I like (almost) best: He’s carrying a 4.3 GPA and a big draw in coming to the U was the entrepreneurship program in the business school. Lassonde Institute: Launching Companies and Landing Recruits Since 2016.
Wow. He has the quickest release I have seen in a high school QB in a long time.
I also like having smart players on our team. We have a good history with smart QBs from San Diego.
He does get the ball out quickly. 3/4 arm delivery, but not nearly as low as Travis Wilson. He can run. He can read defense and improvise when flushed from the pocket. Accuracy is good, but never saw a single deep ball thrown. I’ll take the ability to throw on the run and improvise to make the play.
From aa good friend who’s son went to San Marcos HS:
“Good arm, smart, decent runner. That’s where Casey went
it is a sports powerhouse.”
