  Love the comeback Shelley did against BYU, now he is transferring to Missouri State. I thought he was shafted at Utah State after Gary Anderson bailed at Utah State.

  Will never forget that last 30 yard run against the Cougars where he faked the handoff, moved over to the right and waited a second or two, then took off, stiff-arming a would be tackler along the way to a TD.

    Agreed, will always love Jason Shelley for delivering that comeback victory that kept the streak in tact. He was the consummate team player and I hope nothing but the best for him.

  An important point for those who have heard rumors:
  
  His Utah State career ended with him being dismissed from the team mid-season for a violation of team rules. Then-interim head coach Frank Maile told reporters that Shelley “did nothing illegal” and “his dismissal was 100 percent my decision and not due to any misconduct or violation of institutional policies or rules.”
