Can’t believe this hasn’t been mentioned (maybe I missed it), but Mitch Wishnowsky won the week 1 Ray Guy award:
Congratulations Mitch Wishnowsky @mitchwish on being selected as the punter of the week for the first week of the 2018 season! #RayGuyAward #OurGuyThisWeek #RGAPOW #OurGuy2018 #goutes pic.twitter.com/MmDSIbOCgE

FakeLakeCity?
So, honest question, was that a designed fake or is Wishnowsky running a kick/run option when he punts?
Whittingham mentioned in the press conference that Wishnowsky can pull it at will if he sees something and the fake was not by design, he thought it was going to be blocked so he pulled it.
Looked that way to me as well. Great play by Mitch because it sure looked like it was going to be blocked.
Hey Tony, water is wet.
Ha ha.
He punted 3 times, long of 59. That’s not terrible. Also, he faked it and got a first down. He did fine. And the offense did fine. S**t, some of y’all act like we need to score every possession and never make mistakes ever to be considered good.
gtfo.
Not a good sign when our punter wins an award? This is the stupidest statement I have ever read on this site.
Let’s be honest. The Utes mascott should be a punter. Need to stick to our roots.
No weekly award but Utah punted 3 times in 2013, against a much worse Weber State team, in the first half and once in the 2d half. He racked up 174 yards of punts. Long of 53. Utah went 5-7 that year with BJ as the OC and DE as the co-oc. I am not certain what your point is.
Then your expectations are utterly unreasonable.
Why? Did you just start reading today?
