QB Question

With Rising participating in practice, is that taking reps away from Johnson with the 1’s throughout the week? I get trying to minimize rust with Rising but man if he’s not going to play, Johnson needs as many reps as he can get. I’m pretty sure we ran a total of 5 different offensive plays today.

1st team reps were split 50/50 between Nate and Cam

It may be best for Whitt to move the decision point each week to Tuesday instead of Thursday. The two days makes little difference to Rising but the two days make a big difference to the team prep. This in unique to the QB position.

As much as I love Cam as our QB, I think if we aren’t sure he can play, he should be given QB2 reps and Nate should get the QB1 reps. Splitting them is not helping NJ if he has to start.
