  Houston in general is definitely the hell-hole of Texas from a climate perspective. I live in DFW area and much nicer up here though nowhere near as scenic as the Wasatch Front area. What we do have on SLC is career opportunity with 23 of the country’s fortune 500 companies headquarters in DFW and 22 in Houston. The ability for career progression without having to relocate is a DFW/Houston attribute that cant be matched in Utah.
