Oh yeah
Looks like we’ve got a decent guard line filled out.
and I like where we’re at with the centers.
we just need some wing/forward depth!
timmy Allen🤞🤞🙏🙏???
He seems like a great player. Good three point shooter. We might actually be good next year if Timmy comes back and Carlson gains 15 pounds
Tim Allen is not coming back period end of story don’t waste your time wishing for it.
Smith wants to turn Larry’s roster over to his team as fast as he can.
Jenkins is a very good pick up. He made more 3s last year then Plummber 64 to 70 and at a better percentage 38 to 43
Seems to be a good pickup. Averaging about 17 points per game for his career. 42% career 3pt shooter. Had 33 points on 12-21 shooting (5-7 from 3) vs USU this year.
If his play translates well to the pac12, he’ll be better than any of our guards last year
I think he may struggle against the length of the elite pac12 teams
The mtn west is a decent bball league.
And I’m 100% convinced the gulf between g5 and p5 types isn’t nearly as big in bball as it is for football where it’s a mile wide.
I think he’ll fit in nicely.
Look at the kid for USC this year that played for UVU. Good players are good players regardless of where they come from. You might not realize how good a player actually is until they play for your team. Look at Ja Morant. He’s an incredibly athletic player who played at a mid-major school.
The G5-P5 thing doesn’t matter as much in CBB. No way a school named Oral Roberts beats Ohio State in football. Baylor had a bunch of transfers on their team that started at non-P5 schools.
Oklahoma also had a key player who transferred from Missouri Valley Conference (Austin Reaves from Wichita State).
