I think its because the team with superior talent can rise to the occasion when they’re prepared and focused.
Just imagine how we’ve felt the last few days, but stretching it out over 10 years and 9 games. Would be a miserable existence.
I think it is because our expectations were so high. I had season tickets in 1975 when we went 1-10. I never felt like I did last Friday night. In fact, we just had fun at the games. Sometimes it can be easier to be the team with lower expectations.
This is how I feel too. The loss was incredibly hard to take but I think the rest of the season is going to be a lot more enjoyable for me now that my expectations have been reset.
I haven’t been this salty about a loss since that game @Cal
I originally had us at 10-2 with losses at USC and at Washington. 4 games in now I wouldn’t be surprised if we were 8-4.
Saturday morning i enrolled in KAA (Kool Aid Anonymous).
Hi my name is Steve i have been a Ute fan since 1970, i like the Kool Aid and have indulged in it often.
Some years i drink a little to much of it, it makes me feel good but often not i have a bad night and I puke all over myself. I will always be a loyal Ute fan but have learned the Kool Aid is nasty stuff!
I keep hearing about how difficult it will be for Utah to bounce back from the loss.
Given how it happened, I would think it equally as hard – if not moreso – for Wazzu to bounce back. Their loss was way worse than ours was.
