I don’t think that is a realistic explanation. All it takes is telling recruits, yeah… He’s still on the team, but he won’t be playing for at least a year. We had a good offense last year even with the running back clown show. I’m sure there are lots of QBs that would have wanted to play in that system.

You are correct, not sure why I thought he was a post player. However, tge problem is the same. Is he going to get minutes over Madsen, Bajema, exacte and others? It’s possible, but I don’t see it.

If Kuithe isn’t coming back, don’t expect getting Cam back to make us anywhere close to as good offensively as last year. Utah has been doing a much better job lately of holding onto the instate talent. This kid has the right build to be an excellent safety or linebacker. I guess he was a multi-sport athlete. Seems like the next guy in the Weddle/Hansen/Bishop mold (along with Ritchie hopefully).

I was really happy with recruiting until the turkish kid got dinged with an NCAA violation. He was going to be good IMO.
