Reading through posts on the Auburn board, there are perceived issues with behavior and attitude, but here’s a kid that was All-Everything going to a team full of All Everythings and had trouble adjusting to that. This just has a feel of going one of 2 ways. Either the centerpiece of our team and maybe all All-League performer to being no longer on the team by January. As stated earlier, definitely worth the risk/reward. If it doesn’t work out are we really going to be that much worse off in what is going to be rebuild?

This could be the shooter we’ve been looking for. Recruited out of HS by Auburn,Kansas, UConn, Tennessee, Florida and at least 15 other D! programs. He was one of the players that got into a fight on the plane to Houston back in November, but I’m sure AJ has done his due diligence. Kids make mistakes. Some learn, some don’t. Hopefully this was just blip on the radar.

Those are the same questions I’ve had. The G-League concluded March 29 so was hoping some good news that Andre might follow. One bit of news that dropped today is that Sharajvamts has entered the portal.

Sorry for the duplicate post. M Ute posted while I was typing mine. Just a bit of caution on these lists that recruits or agents put out. There’s a lot of tire kicking going on and a big difference between being contacted and actually being offered.

Other news. Hunter Erickson is transferring to Hawaii for his final year. Best of luck to him. He should do well in the Big West.

Geez dude. Didn’t mean to get you so riled just by saying his D cold be better. A large majority, including me agree that he is #1 priority keeper. I would point out that having the highest defensive rankings on this squad is pretty low bar to clear. Relax, Im sure AJ will do the right thing. If KD doesn’t return, I’m sure it will because of higher offers and not because the last regime didn’t give him the playing time he deserved. There’s a new sheriff in town and the slate is clean.

First off, KD is no KVH, which I doubt you were inferring. All I’m saying is if we want to compete in the Big 12 we need guys that can do what KD does AND play defense. Take a look at all the teams that were in the Sweet 16. With very, very few exceptions their lineups were filled with defensive tigers. And, for the record, I did say that I am curious as to what AJ can get out of him and I do hope we keep him.

As he states, these are estimates, but this is just for transfers and doesn’t include what YBU and others are spending on high school recruits, Euros, and retaining current players.

Here are the CBB programs that are *estimated* to have spent the most NIL money on incoming transfers this offseason so far.

      Michigan 8.8 million
      Kentucky 7.6m
      Maryland 7.1m
      Miami 7.1m
      Iowa 6.6m
      Virginia 6.2m
      Washington 5.9m
      Creighton 5.6m
      Georgetown 5.5m
      Xavier 5.5m

These are ballpark numbers using the Front Office Suite at http://EvanMiya.com based on what every player should theoretically be worth in NIL, accounting for current market rates.

No problem. It’s been a frustrating and long stretch of Utah BB mediocrity and fan forums is where we vent.
