I (hopefully) have found out the issue with the crash, which only happens when there are replies that have many child threads of replies. Unfortunately the fix requires an app update. That’s in process and hopefully will be live soon. I’ll make a post about it.

Care to elaborate? I’m a CC member and I haven’t received any email from them today.

Domains and hosting cost money. Working a website takes time and effort. Eventually it will die if the admin doesn’t continue to “work” on it, as any site would.

I’m using a paid plugin that analyzes every new user registration and compares the email against blacklists, and also examines each new post/reply and blocks spam. It isn’t 100% accurate, and when spam gets through I mark it so the engine can improve. True AI would be great and hopefully that’s coming soon.

Hmm. Did some experimenting tonight. If I disable the Like/Dislike feature, the posts load incredibly faster. I mean, the difference on one long thread of replies was 2 seconds vs 15-20 seconds. I’ll look into the like implementation and see if I can fix that performance bottleneck.

It does. All you do in the website is put the youtube URL on its own line in the text editor. In the app there’s a video icon you click to add it.

My primary displeasure isn’t with NIL. It is with the new conference we have landed in. I really loved beating Oregon and USC especially. I have little excitement for our new “rivals” in the league. Perhaps that will grow over time, but meh.
