If you don’t mind me asking, where did you pick them up? Was it from an online reseller?

The Miami Ute replied to the topic How to watch Utah Ute sports after the move to the Big 12 in the forum Misc 10 months ago
Yeah, it’s at no extra cost. I have four lines under my name and the package comes included at no extra cost with one of the lines. It’s been like that for about three years.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Utah Football facts from the PAC-12 era in the forum Football 10 months ago
You think that strategy is feasible? I’m pretty certain that’s a “jump the shark” moment for a lot of university administrators. I know for sure that a significant number of the elite schools have gone on record saying that if athletes are supposed to be school employees, they’ll just drop sports altogether. I also think it would change the…[Read more]

I’ll be honest, like a lot of people here, I view the Big XII as a truck stop conference and Utah’s presence in it as a shotgun marriage. My view is this… I’m going to hold my nose and continue to support Utah wherever it’s at and hold out hope that, when the expansion dust is settled, Utah is back in the same conference as USC, Oregon, and…[Read more]

I get ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+ with my Verizon cellphone account at no added cost. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Money, it’s a gas in the forum Football 10 months, 1 week ago
I read a piece a couple of days ago where Dabo Swinney, himself a former walk-on at Alabama, went nuclear on the issue. Here’s the link:Dabo Swinney irked by proposed roster changes, impact on walk-ons
As stated, the proposal would eliminate all walk-ons and require all football team members to be on scholarship. -

I think that it’ll fail and eventually get back to some formula that makes sense. If you’re dealing with students cum athletes, it makes no sense at all to have a bicoastal conference.

I’ll refer to a comment I’ve mentioned several times on this website across the years… college football is regional, while professional football is national.
Yes, all of this is about money but the real big money only flows in if people pay subscriptions and tune in to watch the games.
Does anyone really think that the vast majority of…[Read more]

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Breaking: SLC officially named host city of 2034 Olympics! in the forum Misc 10 months, 2 weeks ago
Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. You’re absolutely right that Salt Lake City is no longer a secret, so what’s the point of hosting the Olympics? To me it pure overkill at this point. Even without the Olympics, tons of tourists will still come and tons of people will continue to move to Utah. It’s not like February is a…[Read more]

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Breaking: SLC officially named host city of 2034 Olympics! in the forum Misc 10 months, 2 weeks ago
The Olympics does nothing for me and I’m not really sure what it does for the SLC area. When it’s all said and done, I highly doubt that the event will leave the city and state in the black. Yeah, I’m sure that someone will make money off the deal but I’m also sure that this will be another example of socializing the costs and privatizing the…[Read more]

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Glad we didn’t waste NIL on Cormani McClain in the forum Football 10 months, 3 weeks ago
Even an all time great like Allen Iverson got bitch slapped about being late to practice. I’m not sure what imaginary world McClain lives in where he thinks he’s above the fray. He really needs to start getting his head in the game or his next destination is Last Chance U.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Breaking: Utah vs Miami @ Allegiant to open 2027 season in the forum Football 11 months ago
Why? So that I can look like a circus clown? No thanks…I’m not even going to worry about it now…If the game even takes place, I’ll go as a neutral or might not even go at all…in fact, I’ll probably ignore the game completely. I just can’t fathom rooting against either team.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Breaking: Utah vs Miami @ Allegiant to open 2027 season in the forum Football 11 months ago
It’s tougher for me since I grew up biking distance from the school and actually went there. Maybe the game will get cancelled and I won’t have to worry about it. Never thought it would happen… it’s like watching your two kids play against each other.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Okie St star RB Ollie Gordon arrested for DUI in the forum Football 11 months ago
Are gassers, or any other sort of physical punishment, still a thing? Seems like with the number of players that have died while training over the years, social media, the advent of BLM, etc…it would be a risky approach.

If this list is accurate, then there’s no more starker evidence of the massive financial doping conditions that Oregon operates under.

Immaturity and bad luck, a lethal combination…the fact that you’re a great football player just means that you’re a great football player.

I don’t share similar sentiments about Scalley for a few reasons. One, he’s a hometown guy and this is his dream job. There’s also no doubt in my mind that, if he wanted to, he could have left many years ago for greener pastures. Because he’s an alumnus AND a hometown guy AND has been passing up jobs out of loyalty and commitment to the school,…[Read more]
