That said, I really liked having TDS and Utah in different conferences and rarely playing each other. Sporting events between the two aren’t fun for me. They’re more of a “get it over with” thing. But, hey, we all have our opinions.

Based on Whitt’s post game interview on 700, he hasn’t forgotten… this should be fun.

I had a couple of Zoob work colleagues call Ute fans out for being arrogant about their new home in the BigXII. I tried to explain to them that while we are grateful to have found a landing spot, we just miss the awesome place we had in the Pac12. Excuse my while I mourn my Red Sox and their 37 game losing streak (or so it seems).

Padres are my #2 team, so there’s that I guess.

Lasso just needs to come and join the good side. It’s a lot better over here.

1) I think every team in the BigXII worries about losing a key contributor (i.e. Avery Johnson at K State or Shedeur Sanders at Colorado). Those teams become very average at those positions if they lose those guys.

2) I also think Utah is a team that has the depth to experience injuries but still be good (even at the QB position).

I agree with you on the 10-2 final record with the same two losses. We end in a 5-way tie for first in conference play with Kansas St, Oklahoma St, TCU & Iowa St. We somehow lose out on the tie-breaker, but make it into the playoff anyway without having to play in the BigXII conference championship game. Yankee….have a blast and enjoy every minute of it. I was in your shoes taking my 8 year old son to see Alex Smith play UNLV in 2004. He’s all grown up now and we rarely have a chance to see a game together. It goes fast, savor it!
