I agree he would get destroyed last year. I’m not sure what his body looks like this year.

He was a baby. 5’10” and a high school body. He could have done himself some favors by taking off running more but I wonder if he was in awe of the college bodies trying to crush him. Maybe he hits the weights and gets better. I think he could improve dramattically in this offense but he has to be aggressive at making the defense not spy him.

Same, especially since Isaac Wilson has recent history of being given the job, instead of earning it.

I’m sorry, but I still have a bad taste in my mouth about how Brandon Rose was treated last year, especially since Isaac Wilson didn’t win the QB2; Rose was better and further along.

For me, it casts doubt that Wilson is the better option. It’s much more likely that putting Wilon at QB2 provides better insurance against him bolting.

Hopefully, the offense scored more points.

I’ve lost faith in Mokofisi. I know he apparently had an injury that NOBODY is willing to say what it is, but he hasn’t improved his PFF grades since his freshman year. Why? Why hasn’t he improved. OLine is an aread you should be getting better if you have the reps. I hope someone else wins over him….if he’s not going to improve his grades.

Up-tempo running the ball is what I envision. Whitt likes to run the ball and he has one of the most elite QB’s at doing it, along with a solid running back, and solid OL.

One of the sons wanted to play DE, and Utah projected him as a DT…so there wasn’t mutual interest there, ultimately, and the kid went to BYU, right?

I slightly disagree. In the past, Utah has had decent seasons with mediocre QB play when they had a strong running game. Last year the running game was fragile. A K-Whitt defense with a top tier running game, I like our chances.
