against a far better opponent than most other teams in our situation are playing. There are a LOT of reasons to feel good about last night’s game.

Other than the kicking game, that was poopy.

Alot of people were talking up ASU a at half time. Jayden Daniels started hot (7/8 with 1 TD), but came back down to earth and  finished 15/24. Eno Benjamin look good but not great. 22 carries 102 yards against Kent State is rather mediocre imo.

I think they have a ton of potential this year, but they have a ways to go based off of last night.

I was reading through the comments on the House of Sparky board to see what their thoughts were on their team after it’s lackluster win over Kent State.

Sounds like they had major O-line issues and are expecting that to continue, Daniels was good but didn’t do anything amazing, Benjamin did alright but took a lot of hits (due to the O-line issues), WR’s couldn’t get any separation (funny how their WR’s regressed once N’Keal Harry left), defense played great, special teams played great.

Some of them were giving realistic expectations that this year could be rough for them given the O-line issues and youth on offense, but in a couple years could be top of the South, which I agree with, I never believed Daniels would step in as a true freshman and make them as competitive as last year, especially without N’Keal Harry to bail them out.

I believe “they poo poo” is now the preferred nomenclature.
