Did you know that Bama and Auburn are really making big strides academically? For the past few years, both schools have been offering full rides to high achieving “Yankees” students, especially in engineering.
My neighbor’s kid had been accepted to both UofM and ND but because Bama threw a full ride plus “extras” she’s now getting an education and probably making money. I know of 4 kids in my area who are attending Bama because of the over the top offer.
The neighbor said that over the past three years Bama has one of the highest GPA’s for incoming freshmen
Alabama is going all in trying to change their reputation… good luck,
