I am by NO means a Raiders fan, but that would be AWESOME hosting an NFL team for an entire season!
That said, I think it would make more sense for the Raiders to consider playing their season as at either UNLV, Ariz St, or Cal. Maybe SJSU.
Would be quite fun to have a few NFL games in Salt Lake but no stadium beer sales would really be a deterrant compared to the other choices
Is it illegal to sell beer at RES?
Even if it is, I have a feeling the Legislature would make a temporary accommodation if it meant having NFL games played in Utah.
Total guess but, I am sure there is a campus policy that could be bypassed or changed. The bigger stumbling block would be obtaining a state license from the DABC.
Pfft! Those idiots showed their true colors back in 2002. They will do anything for $$$, especially when the rest of the world is watching.
Forget about COVID-19, they’d have to delouse the seats after the Raiduhs fans visit. 😉 Well, except the NEZ.
