      There is a Pac-12 rule that “if there is a clear position from the league, then the representative has what’s called a ‘directed vote'”.

      The vote to postpone football this fall appeared to be unanimous by university presidents, but it’s solely based on a Pac-12 rule that forces conformity.

      Contractually, ADs and Presidents are not allowed to publicly disagree with the commissioner.

      LS himself has said: “They’re really not supposed to use their judgment.”
