  Opened at osu -7 last night and has moved to -6.5, which means the early money came in on the Utah side. I would have thought the line would have been close to 10, but I didn’t follow osu super close.

  Over-under is high at 67, just about higher than any other bowl game. Vegas is predicting a shootout.

    Ohio State averaged 45.5 ppg and Utah 35.25. Each gave up right around 21. The spread and +/- indicates 37-30 Ohio State so whichever defense can get a couple of stops will be the difference. I’m not sure that either defense is good enough to completely shut down the other team.
    
    Nebraska (26), Michigan (27) and Oregon (28) are the only teams to keep Ohio State under 30 points so while they are beatable, you have to score a lot to do so. Pressure is definitely on Ludwig. I would feel a lot better about the offense if Utah could get Maile healthy and move Ford back to guard. Getting that run game humming will go a long way to keeping the defense fresh and limiting Ohio State’s chances. Yeah, yeah, I know that doesn’t really get me out of Captain Obvious level analysis but I think this game will come down to how well the Utah offense performs.

      Michigan beat Ohio State by pounding RB’s through the tackles. Agree 100%, need Utah OL at full strength. I think the development of the 3-TE set also helps Utah at the LoS.
