  I really feel like if Craig can get one GOOD (not some kid with no offers) recruit or transfer to commit it will start a snowball effect and we will actually be able to fill out the roster with some talent. With so many kids in the portal you gotta think it will be any day now.

  I agree that such a thing could happen, and it would change the trajectory of this team. If that doesn’t happen Smith has zero chance of turning this program around.

    If we have to fill the empty scholarship sports with kids that aren’t really P5 players like Battin, Thione, Brenchly we will be in for another 10 win season next year. I’m not expecting to win the conference next year but if we can’t move up to the middle of the pack I’d start to worry. Getting 4* Keba Keita would go along way I think.
