  Coming out of PAC12 media days knowing that U$C, Washington, U of Nike, et al are “coming for Utah”, the back to back defending champions.
  
  Please, pinch me. This is so fun, ESPECIALLY for us older guys who grew up when Utah football was a joke.
  
  Enjoy this season. It’s going to be special!

    I agree. Older guys like us have seen it all including back-to-back 1-10 seasons in the mid-70s. I am hoping for a great season, but if we lose some games along the way – oh well. I am not going to stress over winning the PAC12. I am just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.

      In one season (1988) I witnessed:
      
      – Air Force beating Utah 56-49 in a game where Scott Mitchell set the single game passing record, Air Force ran for over 600 yards and completed the only pass they threw for a 60 yard TD.
      – UTEP (UTEP!!!!!) – putting up their best season in the last 70 years
      – Utah somehow overcoming a 9 year losing streak to the parochial school.
      
      I don’t believe that there is a possible outcome regarding Utah football that I haven’t witnessed. I know people think I’m a pessimist when it comes to the team but it’s actually born of watching the improbable become reality more times than I’d like.
