I’m pretty concerned with what will be the probable performance from merriweather this year.

      1) I saw a video from some notre dame fan about the top 10 most disappointing prospects of the 2000s for notre dame. He was one of them and a bunch of the comments were accusing him of dropping a lot of catches. I guess he also had rave reviews from the offseason being labeled as “unguardable”.

      2) he’s been injured quite a bit in his career, doesn’t bode well for us especially here at Utah. I remember people saying something similar stuff about mycah Pittman and emory Simmons before they came and fast forward to now. I don’t think either played at least 9 games in a season. Granted, Pittman shut it down in 23. But pretty concerned about durability with merriweather.

      3) transferred twice. Obviously he’s either kind of a problem or cal and nd have problems

He’s really talented and he chose us so I’m on team Merriweather! Probably won’t be perfect but I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t produce when healthy. Oh, and word on the street is the young TE JJ is REALLY turning heads!

Try being a glass half full type of fan…..Much more enjoyable that way.

Common theme, Utes have a WR problem.. But to be honest, Utes didn’t knock the transfer portal out of the park, they missed out on several priority key players.

A-lot of expectations fall on Dampier’s shoulders and he might not have the tools needed to pull it off.. when they start talking about Barton or Snowden playing on the offense , what message does that say about the current status of the offense.

A lot of bark the last two years with this team and no bite. The rubber is about to hit the road again, so we’re about to find out what this team and program is about, and more importantly where it’s headed. This program can’t afford another losing season, even a mediocre season will be viewed as a disappointment.
