  If we even had one signature win to hang our hat on, I’d maybe say yes. Two signature wins would do it. But with zero, I’m afraid we’re a day late and a dollar short.
  
  At this point the question is, short of winning the PAC tourney, can any combo of wins get us in? What if we run the table to the conf tourney final but lose that game? Is that enough?

    Oregon St killed us far more than not having any signature wins. We spent some time in bracketology’s Last Four Out leading up to Oregon St. We were on the bubble, had we beaten Oregon St, won at Colorado, then beaten the NoCal schools at home we would have been squarely on the bubble, and we likely seal an at large bid if we get to the PAC 12 tournament semis. Losing to Oregon St killed all of that. Oregon St is our only loss to a sub 100 RPI team. We had no bad losses before that game.
    
    Utah has to win the PAC12 tournament to get in, there’s no way we get an at large.

      Which would likely mean beating two of these three: Oregon, UCLA, Arizona.

        Yes I would expect Oregon, Arizona, and UCLA to all make the semis, meaning as the 4th seed we’d have to beat Oregon then the winner of Az/UCLA.

    Placing 4th and beating Oregon in the second game might be enough to get us in. But that’s a tall order.

      Beating the NoCal teams this week, getting the fourth seed, beating fifth seed Cal then Oregon in the PAC tournament gets us in the conversation, I don’t think it’s enough for an at large though.

        USF’s RPI is currently 91, most don’t consider a loss to a top 100 RPI team on a neutral court a bad loss.

        Especially when said loss occurred without our best player in Kyle Kuzma. Remember, he got injured in the 1st minute of the game. It’s clearly obvious that Utah is a much better team with Kuzma than they are without him.
