I think it ought to be one of Kyle Whittingham’s top priorites to find some way to allow the Utes to wear their blackout uniforms despite being on the road. The Trojans really seem to struggle against those.

Also, if they happen to return a kick on us for a touchdown we shouldn’t be too concerned as long as we can get them into fourth and short with under 6 minutes to play and down by less than a touchdown.

It seems like a rather unusual recipe for success, but it has earned us our last 2 victories against USC. Here is to hoping we can break the hundred year curse and come away with a huge victory this fall!

That would be an awesome tradition. Someone should email/tweet at Utah Football. USC always wears their yellows and we wear our black.

Mid bet the So. Cal kids on our team would LOVE that.

I would settle for scoring on 7 straight possessions, as Penn State did in the Rose Bowl. if we can get the Oh-fense to that point I believe we will be in a situation where opposing teams will need to be extremely lucky to beat us.

Kyle didn’t grow up playing Madden and USC is not going to indulge our wearing special unis in their house. Notre Dame and UCLA are their rivalry games and they don’t see a Utah team in that level. Beat them ten times and maybe we can talk. That’s my guess. They are everybody’s blackout game.

Did USC wear their maroon jerseys at RES? It seems to me that they did.

If so, we could wear whatever we want.
