  Public service announcement: Stock up tomorrow because the tax hike on alcohol goes into effect on Saturday. Yeah, no longer being raped for 86%! Saturday it’s up to 88%. Why stop there?

    Yep. Part of the new initiatives from the religiouslature. That and those dumb signs saying this is a restaurant not a bar and this is a bar and not a restaurant and this is a Jiffy Lube not a bar and such.

  I will be there. I needed to restock my wine situation anyway.
  
  I prefer the more premium experience of the wine store on 3rd west by Costco, or even 3rd and 3rd downtown.
  
  The liquor stores in Sugarhouse or, *shudder* the scary AF downtown 4th west make me feel like a criminal for even going in. Which is funny for a business that rakes in the amounts of money they do.

    The 4th west Liquor store
    
    Reams on 27th and State
    
    Maverik on 35th and 7th west
    
    Scary places.

    Thinking of going camping in a week or two. Maybe I can make a trip to Evanston area. Is the pricing better there or in Bendover?
