You may have noticed my icon is different for the moment. I just changed it with my smartphone via the next version of the Ute Hub app! Avatar management works! Woooo! I’ve been working on the newest updates for about 3 months, when I have time. Last night I finished off the rest of the pending app code and submitted to both major app stores. One app store has already cleared and the other (take a guess which one) is pending approval. Go to your device’s app store and look for updates.
New Features
-User account registration
-User profile management: upload/delete avatar, change email, change password, change public display name
-New layout in settings adds user profile management
-Edit posts/replies
-In-app version checking notifies user if new version is available and nags user to upgrade to benefit from new features and bug fixes
-New text editor (hope it is better)
Bug Fix
Fixed youtube videos which would show up as blank in the app. The video will show as a video thumbnail which is clickable and will open the video in the youtube app, or in the browser. Can’t play the videos inside the app due to security restrictions (long and painful story there).
