  But, it will be interesting to see how it all works out.
  
  I know Gary and Kyle are very good friends. I think Gary knows his place with KW. How will things with GA and Scalley work? I don’t know the answer, but I hope it helps our defense, especially our defensive line.

  I posted below, but now Scalley has intense competition for the Utah HC job. Between Andersen, Jay Hill and Scalley, Scalley is the least viable candidate.
  
  I’d bet money that if Utah’s defense keeps improving under Scalley, and Utah ends the season ranked, Scalley will go look for a HC job and Andersen takes over as DC.
  
  Then, when Whitt retires, the HC will be either Andersen, Hill or Scalley, unless all three bomb.
  
  Great situation for Utah to be in.

    I don’t think Andersen is the kind of HC candidate that Chris Hill pursues. I think guys like Brian Johnson and Scalley have potential but need more seasoning. Jay Hill is progressing nicely. Who knows?

      Why is this an option for some people? I think we would get sick of weird losses every year. Weirder than Whitts. I also doubt he could be successful with the whole LDS mission Utah culture.

        I think you mean Les Miles? GA has been successful in the past and knows the culture. I have my doubts but Miles just doesn’t strike me as that type of person. I have no evidence or facts other than my belief.
