  First of all, Go Utes tonight! I want a few more Collette dunks.
  
  I wanted to get a guesstimate from yall to how much I should expect to pay, were I to try and get season tix this year for football if I take a Utah job.
  
  I am starting a new job soon and am deciding between several offers.
  
  I can stay here in Texas where my wife’s family is, but move from San Antone to Lubbock(ugh) Stay with no state tax.
  
  I can take an offer in Las Vegas, easy to travel anywhere and still make some games. And again no state income tax.
  
  Or I can take an offer for Bountiful, Utah. Go to many games, but make 15k less than Texas, and pay Utah’s taxes.
  
  Already declined an offer from an old college friend for Fresno, CA. Outrageous taxes/cost of living.

  TexUte- Just remember that there are only 6 football home games a season. The question I want to ask you is: have you been to Bountiful?….pretty much just Provo Jr.

    Have you considered flying in for the games? I fly in from Denver for about $100 round trip.

  I’d do Vegas, personally. You could go to all games, no income tax, 4 hours from everything.
  
  Its a no brainer. Vegas baby.
  
  Utah sucks. Taxes are getting higher every year, the culture is hard, especially for new people who are entrenched in the culture, the weather sucks (this was the hardest for us. Snow is awful). I wouldn’t move back there at all.
  
  Tax the tax money you’d save in NV and use that to fly to Utah games.

    i agree with a lot of this, but Vegas sucks ass. Snow is good. And the culture in Utah is not as s**tty as it was even 10 years ago.
    
    Still, weighing the tax issues and also the housing market is a nightmare in SL valley right now, Utah is probably right.

  To answer you question for real. I have a set of two tickets and my face value is like $30 a seat (we are row 54 in northwest end zone). That is not counting any crimson club donations though.

  Utah real estate is something to consider if you’re choosing the options for an extended stay between Utah and Nevada. $15k less and no state income is enticing in Nevada but Utah real estate has been doing really well in recent history. Both good options.

    I think he makes $15,000 less in Utah, which kind of sucks seeing how expensive housing is in Utah.
    
    Another reason for Vegas. You’re still close to family/games, but an extra $1,000+ per month can buy a lot of trips home to see football/family.
    
    Especially with how expensive housing in Utah is.
