This one really sucks even though I am not surprised by it at all.

I personally feel that both Indiana and Tennessee are in the CFP. Bama and South Carolina are not.

Almost. The parochial school was undefeated this year because they gained more yards than Kansas and scored more points in the 2nd half than Arizona State.

I’d put SMU ahead of Alabama.
#1 Oregon <— winner of #5 Texas v #12 Clemson
#2 Georgia <— winner of #6 Notre Dame v #11 South Carolina
#3 Boise <— winner of #7 Ohio State v #10 Alabama
#4 Arizona State <— winner of #8 Penn State v #9 SMU#13 Syracuse first out. #14 Miami (Fl), #15 Indiana & #17 Tennessee didn’t play tough enough…[Read more]

Same! They will have won it, but there’s something hollow about it.

Thanks for the insight. It kind of seems like other teams have zeroed on him because, you’re right…he’s going to have a lot problems with physicality as the season goes along.

I kind of want Oregon to win it all just because of that. Is that weird?

Yeah Rick, I thought that SMU left a few ticks on the clock as well before they scored. I’m loving it though…anything to screw with the “committee.”

SMU tied 31-31 with a few seconds left. Clemson had a decent kick return with 9 seconds left. Made 1 good pass, and then hit a 56 yarder to win 34-31.

Hard to see how the “committee” leaves SMU out of the CFP after this performance. Looks like Bama is shit out of luck this season and DeBoer’s seat grows warmer.

No disrespect, but you lost me when you said that you were “a huge Smith fan.” What exactly has Smith demonstrated during his time at Utah to earn such allegiance? All I’ve seen is three mediocre seasons and the start of a fourth.
