If you play 9 conference games already I see a point. 8 I want to see a championship. Especially with divisions essentially.

Seriously I could care less. I’ve said this a few times. Dude wanted the smoke and then pissed all over himself. Then leaves. Week ass. I don’t care if he was a freshman there was a reason he was number 2. Coaches are to blame for that also. But they don’t control IW attitude.

Conference Championship game cost Utah in 2019 and SC in 2022. Both one loss teams that had an argument for the playoff until they lost the CCG. I’ve wanted those CCG’s gone for a long time.

Yep. same look as Colorado’s. I think it was necessary for Track & Field when that was in the stadium.

Good thing we’ve definitely not had to worry about this every year for 15 years! That would certainly be frustrating

We certainly put them on the field during the game but I think I’ve pretty well learned that isn’t that same thing as really using them.

This happens all the time in all sports. Neither Rose nor Wilson is a Beck guy. I’m just thinking that when you bring in a new OC, a lot of times both the players and the coordinator are more comfortable starting with a blank slate, meaning the player going somewhere else and the coordinator looking for someone specific to run his system.

Bama didn’t make it….DeBoer’s seat is hot.

Given we have had to use 5 QBs each of the past two years, seems like a good chance they would be needed. Having depth at the QB is something every team needs and having one or both on the roster right now would be a plus in my opinion.

Hmm…so you think that Beck had no intention of seeing what they could do and giving either of the a shot given Wilson started multiple games already even when it should have been Rose? Seems like both would have a good chance of playing time if they stayed.

Or no CCG and multiple playoff teams. So far, the bracket is happening just as I thought.

So…what pays the conference more? CCG with no playoff team or no CCG and a playoff team?

Just me, but I’m thinking that NIL is not a feature of Rose’s or Wilson’s departure. I would say that it’s more related to the possibility of getting active playing time.

Honestly…if Beck doesn’t make any changes to the offensive coaching staff, especially at RB coach…

Then I’m not sure Beck has any say in how the offense is run.

I see him as a candidate for the new PAC or the MWC. Maybe he can sign on with an SEC or B1G bottom dweller. I doubt that say a Georgia or a team of that ilk would have any interest in him given his tape.

I’m a little curious how the injuries to Wilson and Rose could affect schools giving them offers. I am sure some will be willing to take them on but do we even know if either of them will be ready to go for spring ball?

We don’t even know the severity of Wilson’s injury from Iowa St on top of the rumored surgery he has been putting off.
