So youāre telling me 6 sacks and a pick 6? I can dig it!

Apparently Pay’s backup has been killing it, even though he had never played the position before. Remember when we had guys that could come in for an injured player and not miss a beat?
As far as getting pressure, we couldn’t get pressure on Houston. I heard a stat that said we have a total of 2 sacks in Big12 play… Not 2 sacks per game… Just…[Read more]

I swear I saw some quotes from the team that tcu seamed to know what we were going to do every play. At the time it was an indictment of how predictable our offense is, but maybe they really did know the plays.

Anyone know how Tafuna, Tanuvasa and Vimahi are doing health wise? Retzlaff has been fantastic but still can be forced into turnovers with pressure.

Every team suffers injuries during the season. Look at BYU. Their top two RBs miss multiple games. Their offensive line has been shuffled this season. Hard to blame a coach when every other team goes through this during the year.

that’s how the peer review process works. otherwise, it’s just opinion v opinion and neither has to prove a thing to the other. but I did find it rich that the 2nd person felt the need to tell the OP that he needed to research and prove his opinion while providing nothing of his own.

QB’s get hurt. It’s the nature of the position and why so many rules are in place trying to prevent it.
Since 2017, the only years the opening day starter didn’t miss at least one game for injury were 2019 & 2021. Huntley played hurt from game 4 on and Brewer was a concussion waiting to happen. That’s a 25% success rate and none of the QB…[Read more]

So, humor me for a second. Iām not even asking for facts. Theories alone are fine at this point. What is the suspicion as to what could be causing this? Throwing a generic term out there like players are getting hurt because of āstrength and conditioningā doesnāt actually mean anything. Strength and conditioning are what is done to get more ph…[Read more]

Why are people so rude to others on this forum to people who have a different opinion? I’ve said this before, if we all thought the same, this forum would be very boring. Why take the time to write that a post is ridiculous when you can just turn the page or ignore it? Why attack the poster? If you’re going to write something rude, “step away”.

Into more main stream things instead of just plain ol hard work and strength training. Much more to itā¦.Maybe Tony can link it here. Itās on ESPN700 podcast. He comes on every Thursday. This was from the Thursday before the Houston game if I remember correctly.

I’m in Vegas eating in a deal restaurant and didn’t see that post. It was just the first thing that popped into my mind. And Rose even has a faint resemblance to Ratliff as well… I’m glad that you and I see eye to eye on this

You guys know who Rose reminds me of? Brett Ratliff. And, just like Ratliff in 2005, I hope he craps all over BYU’s parade next weekend. Let fly Brandon, let fly….

I donāt disagree but also we had a 2nd string and 3rd string at DT, right? Tanuvasa hurt, Tafuna hurt, Vimahi hurt, and I think one more got hurt.

Bishop is a huge loss which is why I’m so surprised Ritchie hasn’t been able to fill that role. He looked good doing just that in 2020 but has been a complete afterthought since. Hansen, Blair, Bishop.,, that’s close to a decade of SS’s that were great in run support and allowed Scalley to run nickel as his base since he didn’t need a third LB.…[Read more]

I don’t know why Utah is having so many injuries after spending the late 2010’s seemingly with no injuries to key players, especially on defense. It might not even have anything to do with the S&C since the gymnasts seemed to go through a period where they’d lose a couple of girls every year to Achilles tears.
