I wrote after the game “words are being exchanged as we speak”

Kyle announced it earlier today but that team was never going to really play with Cam at the helm ever again. I’d be interested to know what demands the players will be making this week and how the coaches respond.

Of course it is. It would be totally against human nature if it didn’t. I mean, in Rising you have a guy that receives more NIL than the rest of the team put together yet he’s clearly not fit to play college football and hasn’t been for almost two years. These young adults would have to be saints to not let something like that affect them.

My hope is he sits out until the BYU game and comes back for a last hooray.

Nope. Let him walk with the other seniors before Iowa State. Give him a couple of plays in the 2nd quarter so that he can walk off the field to thunderous applause for everything he did for the program. And let him ride off into the sunset on Whitt’s Harley.

You know…I’m afraid that it might be a sparse crowd. It’s projected to be cold and the game probably won’t end until after midnight. Either way, it wouldn’t surprise me if people started departing after halftime.

I cant believe this isn’t affecting the clubhouse.

Everyone spending the big $$$$ to attend games has the freedom to act how they want, but it would help if we have a supportive crowd Saturday, cheering the players and team and not getting down on them if they are having a rough time.

If we botch this bad enough that Wilson leaves that will be one of the biggest mistakes we’ve ever made.

Whitt’s almost 65. He’s not the coach to lead Utah forward. The real question is if he’s the coach who can manage Utah’s present. If Whitt, at the end of this season, conducts a drastic overhaul of the staff, he might as well go along with them.

Oregon has Dante Moore holding a clipboard and prepping for next year (which is what Wilson should have doing this year in a functional program). Anyone going there is going to have a battle on their hands. Starting for a bad Utah still provides more exposure than sitting somewhere else.

Another aspect of this (regardless if the above post is true or not) is the Wilson’s seeing how Zach was handled with the Jets. Team’s a shitshow. If Kyle can show them that things are aligned and not changing and their captains/leaders convince them to play along things can turn around.
