I don’t keep up with these things, but if that is the case that is sad. When I finished at the U in the 70s I knew several others that did not get accepted to graduate school at the U and bumped down to the Y for the same. I wonder if that is the case with STEM programs?

Its easy to enforce you just punish the program becuase it incentives the program to police their donors and the donors will comply. Trying to punish the donors can never happen.

And the boosters probably aren’t even contacting him directly.

Well, it’s the highest rated, with regards to academics, university in Utah. Yeah, I know, shocker that any athlete nowadays would be concerned about something like that. Personally, I think that the only reason why non-Mormon athletes go there is because they blow off the Honor Code, and no one cares.

There was zero chance that the Pac-12 would have taken in tds. The left leaning presidents of the universities would never have considered a conservative religious school like tds. If Utah had said “We won’t come in without tds.” They would have been left out too.
