I’ve been saying all along that we need to avoid the brain fart game we seem to have every year, one we lose which we should win (Washington State). We have only won ONE conference game so far. The season is FAR from over.
I think we go too conservative too, but with a backup QB in there it is hard to open up the whole playbook.
I think it’s fine the way it is. Please keep it the same.

Mark May will only say something positive about Utah if it supports his agenda. In this case his belief that we should vote based on body of work. He is too busy listening to himself talk to notice anything about Utah.
Over the weekend he mocked Mack Brown for saying that Ohio State was playing well. Something Mack Brown did not say! Again Mark didn’t listen to what he said. It was nice to see the coach correct him afterwards. Mark didn’t seem to enjoy it!
How ironic, disliking a post to send the message that we don’t want a dislike feature… I agree though. I think having no thumbs down helps keep it positive, reduces trolls. This particular system is one which is a paid gig. Has lots of features and is slick, but the data is not stored here. I may find a different one if it is decided to go thumbs up only.
I haven’t seen a post I would “dislike” here yet. I’m sure one will happen. I’m still of the only-like theory in the vein of positive thinking…
You just have to understand how damn bad it must feel to have your spirits lifted on the wings of two last minute TD passes, only to see your team lose a heartbreaker and then get pantsed in front of the whole country. Add to that the fact that your most hated rival, who in your heart you believe to be inferior in every way to your (re: the Lord’s) team, annihilates a national power in front of the whole country on the same day.
We are lucky that one of those poor repressed Cougar fans didn’t climb a bell tower and start taking people out.
For my part, I love it when they are elevated before it all comes crashing down. My schadenfreude is at an all time high.
Our offense is incredibly efficient. Comparing among Pac 12 teams only, we are:
#1 in sacks given up (1)
#1 in red zone offense
#1 in 4th down conversions (8 of 9)
#1 in turnover margin (+7)
#2 in 3rd down conversions (47.5)
#2 in time of possession (34:18)

Whitt acknowledged that was the only troubling thing about the game. He said they are going to work on it.

Oline that blocks help. Night and day difference. Utah has only played one legit defense in Michigan though.
