How is it that 3rd place in the big 10 East, Michigan, goes to the citrus bowl against Bama and Utah goes 2nd in the pac12 against unranked Texas.

At least in other conferences the upper teams go to decent bowls. Maybe I’m just complaining and annoyed about the championship game outcome, but this is such a letdown for a team that has been so good this year to get stuck with this bowl….

Going from ranked 5th in the country on conference championship weekend, to playing a 7-5 team in a bowl game. College football is bizarre.

No dice here. Road tripped to USC in SoCal, UCLA, and the snow balls for the awesome CU (great game and got to see the senior send off and fireworks). Traded out going to the disasterous P12 Champ game for a possbile Rose Bowl. Turned out to be the right call.

Already moved on to BB, Lacrosse, and now VB. Will watch from the couch. Pretty much lost interest in all the which team will show up and play for the meaningless bowl games several years ago. Fun to watch, that’s about it. Love the Utes and grateful for an awesome year, BUT dropping a load of cash to travel, stay, and watch the Utes play the 5th place Big12 team..no thanks. If getting up for the P12 game was a struggle, not sure what this bowl will look like. Crazy how big of a loss the P12 champ game was for the progam…so goes college football.

Hopefully this is a chance for some PT for some of the yound up and coming next years players. Moss, Anae, JJ, and others with a NFL future should not play IMO. Go Utes!

It’s the conference tie-ins for the NY6, non-playoff semi bowls. Rose Bowl, and Orange Bowl are contractually bound, and some of the others are too, on off-years. Bottom line is, win and we’re in. We didn’t win.
