  I never wondered Utah was losing most of the head to head battles with Zona. I will concede a lot of things to Arizona basketball but that was getting even too good for them.

    It wasn’t so much losing players. Arizona is probably the best program in the west right now. It was losing players at the end after Arizona jumped in late for a player. That was very frustrating.

  Glad Larry never gave in and kept a clean program. Cost us guys like markkanen and akot but we are still in a fantastic spot going forward and the fbi isn’t investigating us

        An audit of the Utah athletic program wouldn’t reveal the schemes being prosecuted. The money never hits the books of the program.
        
        The money comes from third parties (like financial advisors or athletic wear companies) and goes personally to the coaches or the players and their families.
        
        You would have to audit the personal finances of players and coaches to reveal the scheme.

        I assume he’s clean. But I was surprised by his recent success in recruiting. Just praying Larry didn’t have to go “Blue Chips” to get that talent.
