I’ve complained a lot about spacing and offense for the mbb team.
to the staffs credit, they’ve finally corrected that. If only they weren’t a season and a half late to the party…
the problem is that, so late into the season we’re still learning how to play proficiently with space and the extra opportunities it provides. Unfortunately we still kind of suck at it. That was the story of the Stanford loss IMO. We left a lot of points on the court last night by not being good enough yet to punish Oregon when they brought doubles.
this is so weird. I want to praise the staff for adjusting. That was a really good showing last night in the road against a tournament team.
but then I want to freak out just imagining where we might be had we started adjusting our offense before last season. We’d be soooo good… we’re REALLY talented. We looked athletically comparable to Oregon for the first time in a long long time.
Ughhhhh……
