Bill Riley ranks UW as the 6th best team in the PAC12

I found that very interesting.  He has it: Utah, WSU, Oregon, Cal, ASU, UW.

I still think of UW as 2 or 3.  I think the Cal loss is very misleading because of the extremely unusual circumstances of that game.

If Bill is right?  Does this mean that the Cougars have a fighting chance?

I don’t think UW is as strong as previous years, but 6th seems very low.  Until WSU beats them, they should be ranked ahead of them and a game with Oregon seems 50/50 to me.

Having watched them dismantle Hawaii, I have a hard time ranking them that low. Eason can absolutely sling it, and their defense looks very fast and athletic. Even though they lost a game, they still held Cal to 10 points. They easily could be undefeated still.

I think he does his own personal power ranking. That doesnt neccesarily mean that’s who he thinks the best teams are in order.
