Hi all…As many of you may know, despite being culturally accurate, proud, and presented in a strong respectful way, President De La Torre of San Diego State has once again removed this iconic Mascot from its fans. We (Aztec Warrior Foundation) formed 20 years ago to fight the University after they killed the Mascot in 2000. We won that battle 2 years later. Now the new President has removed the Warrior again. The “The Aztec Warrior Foundation” has formed again and intend on winning this battle another time. We refuse to lose.
Could you all please read our petition linked below. If you agree with what we say in that petition, please sign the petition. We would appreciate any help we can get on this important issue. On the petition will be a spot for donating money…pass that by, do not donate…we don’t need money right now…We need signatures. And just for the record I came up with the idea to post here, based on the reactions and signatures I got from the Florida State Seminole message board. We are all in the same boat with the tremendos, respectful representatives we have at our schools. The Seminole, The Ute, and The Aztecs are all good for history, sports, and our schools.
