Sometimes I wonder if our coaches know what the score is. Why are we throwing long bombs when the score is 20-21 and 20-28 in the third quarter? Why not short and intermediate passes and a good dose of Zack Moss?

The playcalling had been so good for a month. It definitely regressed today. Taylor totally abandoned the run game in the second half.

The attempted TD going into halftime was on Huntley. He had a wide open Covey that would’ve allowed for a field goal but he tried to play hero ball.

Because without that deep threat the defense stacks the box and the run game goes nowhere. Two run plays that get stuffed, 3rd and long, pressure, sack, punt… Not difficult. The oline sucks at pass protection. Plane and simple.
