Gordon even slower coming out of Missouri Friday-Saturday.  Some rain today in Northern Illinois again today on a weak stationary front, but even that is getting pushed south of the area by mid-morning Friday.  Track for Saturday is even further south not getting much further north than St. Louis.   So rain for the game, if any, will be a slight chance of showers early in the evening, otherwise mostly cloudy and humid, temps in the mid 60s.  Wind should be 15 mph from the east to east-northeast.  Some gusts to 20 mph early in the game.   No lightning threat.

Wish I had a better handle on it earlier in the week – meandering ex-tropical lows are humbling.   Have fun!

I am interpreting the output of NOAA numerical forecast models; a Utah Meteorology degree (among others) can be useful.
