At the time I was violently ill with food poisoning In the Bahamas. I did get updates on the score, but honestly I didn’t care much at the time. Now, that I am back to normal, read up on the game, watched some highlights – I am disappointed, but not surprised. We have under achieved in November since joining the PAC-12. We played sloppy, made bone headed mistakes on the road. On top of that our QB goes down in crunch time. What would you expect the outcome to be.
Many have posted things like – every team has bad games. This is true. But, we had three bad games early in the season and this is more than a trend for the Utes in November. We had the South in the palm of our hands and dropped it. This is indeed disappointing for the football fan in me. However, over the years, I have been able to put football in perspective. So life goes on.
I am not going to debate coaching changes, play calling, the other ifs and whys today. I just hope our defense can pull their heads out the next three weeks and win these games for us. (They were horrible Saturday.). I don’t think we can count on the offense to help much with an inexperienced QB at the helm.
Go Utes!!
